Our Mission
To preserve the horse's cultural significance and to advance equestrian sports on its terms.
Vision and Purpose
The Professor Ingvar Fredricson Foundation works to ensure that proven experience and the latest research translate into real, practical benefits for the horse—its well‑being, durability, and performance. The Foundation also seeks to highlight the horse’s role as a cultural bearer throughout history.
We share accessible, evidence‑based knowledge across the equine community through seminars, demonstrations, and publications in professional media and book form. Our focus spans genetics, breeding, reproduction, rearing, training, horsemanship, competition, and the art of riding and driving—always grounded in research and long‑standing practical expertise.
Each year, the Foundation awards a scholarship to an individual or organization whose work advances these goals. Through this support, we encourage and help realize projects and initiatives that contribute meaningfully to the welfare of horses and the development of equestrian sport.
